Since 1989 Karen has worked as a draftsperson within the construction industry gaining a range of experience with engineers, designers, architects, builders, related consultants, and local council.

As a structural draftsperson she worked within Gympie Region and Noosa Shire for eight years including a period of self-employment. In 2004 Karen moved focus from structural to architectural with Middap and Ditchfield Architects, continuing with the team in 2010 to Tim Ditchfield Architects.

Karen’s interests include art, writing, science, computer graphics, and self-improvement.
